Kathy Uyen

A trained actor from Los Angeles, Kathy’s leading role (opposite Dustin Nguyen) in Vietnam’s top 2010 box office hit “De Mai Tinh” established her as the international new fresh face and Vietnam’s hottest female talent.

Her charismatic performance in Victor Vu’s 2009 Passport To Love won her Best Supporting Actor award at the 2009 Golden Kite Awards.

Kathy has been in demand both in Vietnam and abroad ever since. In August she wrapped the female lead role in Simon Yin’s “Super-capitalists” filmed on location in Hong Kong & NY.

She has played numerous leading roles in independent feature films including, “Asian Stories (Book3)”, Oan Hon (“Spirits”), “Kieu”, “Skidmarks” and” Finishing the Game” directed by Justin Lin.Credits Further into the past Kathy hadappearances on America’s CBS TV Show, How I Met Your Mother as well as many national commercials (State Farm, Toyota Highlander,NBC, Winter Olympics 2006).
